“The 1959” is a beautiful Mid Century Modern home in historic Racquet Club Estates. This Meiselman architectural gem has been carefully curated with minimalist features, including polished concrete floors, stunning mid-century furniture, and timeless geometric art".
This very private, completely walled, and gated property will make you feel like you’re staying at your own mini resort. It’s all here in your own private slice of Palm Springs paradise; including a large refreshing saltwater pool and an above ground hot springs brand hot tub that’s ideally postioned next to a luxury outside shower.
The outdoor shower allows guests an opportunity to wash off prior to entering into the pool & hot tub, this will ensure that the water stays in prestine condition during your stay. You can also enjoy a refreshing morning shower in the great outdoors while being surrounded by spectacular mountain views.
There's plenty of outdoor seating, both poolside and in the shade. Inside the home, your guests can enjoy board games in front of the mid-century gas fireplace. Central air conditioning, light walls, and polished concrete flooring ensures that the desert heat stays outside.
The full kitchen features a French door refrigerator, as well as a gas stovetop, slab granite countertops, and all the large & small appliances you'll need to create all the good stuff. Please feel free to drink water from the facuet, as the house is outfitted with a filteration system that purifies the water and softeness it.
Both bedrooms are comfortably outfitted for a restful night’s sleep after playing out in the sun all day. The primary bedroom showcases a King size bed, large closet, dresser, and an ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom features a Queen size bed, a fold up desk/table in the closet, and has access to the hallway bathroom. Each bathroom features a uniquely tiled standalone shower.
Inside the den you’ll find a large smart flatscreen television, a super comfy couch, an additional sleeping area that's perfect for a little one, and a work desk for your convenience.
This property provides a perfect blend of decor as it mixed modern touches with mid-century modern elements that creates a wonderful getaway for you and your group. It’s the perfect vacation rental for entertaining and reveling in the Palm Spring lifestyle.
The garage area has been converted to provide you with an additional area for entertainment. Inside, you'll find a full-size ping-pong table and a couch for relaxing on. Inside this converted garage you'll also find a set of bocce balls, this is a classic desert game that you can enjoy over on the grassy area. Please feel free to fold the ping-pong table up, and gently place off to the side to park one medium size vehicle inside.
As a dog friendly property, the owners asked that you please pick up after your four legged family members, and to please keep them off the furniture - this will help to ensure that the next guests have the same wonderful experience that you're going to have at The 1959!

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway.
In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy.
Poolside Vacation Rentals is local and available at any time. We care for our homes, and our guests with a dedication to great hospitality. Locally owned & operated. We look forward to the opportunity to host you.

Optional pool and spa heat is available at an additional cost of $69 nightly or $345 weekly. Pool and spa heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the spa to 102 degrees. Spa heat only is available at $25 nightly. (During hot summer months, spa heat only can be enabled at no additional charge. These months include July, August, September)

This home was perfect for my family of 3. Two nice bedrooms and a space to use as an office. The pool and hot tub were great with views of the mountains. I highly recommend this space for a nice vacation. We even played some ping pong in the game room. The home was also a quick drive to downtown.

The 1959 Palm Springs house was a great stay. Wonderful location close to grocery, and quick bites. The house was very clean and had all the amenities for a fun vacation. It was great for our group of 2 couples we had plenty of room to hangout. We enjoyed the game room with ping pong table, the relaxing hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. The home was perfectly located close to downtown Palm Springs, Aerial Tramway, and many hiking trails. Definitely would stay here again when in Palm Springs!

Absolutely LOVED our stay! The home looks even better than the pictures (and the pictures are beautiful). Its gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The pool and hot tub were divine. Comfy beds and linens. The place was absolutely spotless and clean. Adored the 1960s interior decor and vibe with a modern touch. Looked like a magazine. Id go back in a heartbeat and didnt want to leave!

The place was awesome. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, easy to get downtown and to the various hiking spots, 15-min from the airport. Backyard was amazing with a great pool (my son learned to jump into the deep end), hot tub, fire pit and yard games, all with a Mountain View. Beds and sheets were super comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with nice appliances. Highly recommend!

The 1959 was a great place to come back to and relax for our group after spending some days at the BNP tennis open. The outside area, pool, fire pit and hot tubs were inviting and well maintained. We loved playing table tennis and relaxing in the hammocks. Inside had everything our group needed for eating, sleeping and entertainment and was well decorated. We highly recommend this rental house.

The 1959 was an adorable min-century house with everything you need. Close to downtown in a very nice and safe neighborhood. The outdoor space was awesome with everything one would need to have a great vacation. Super clean everywhere especially a squeaky clean hot tub! The beds and linens were top notch comfortable. Every picture and description down plays how great this place is. Very welcoming and perfect place to relax on vacation.

This house is beautiful and in a great neighborhood. Its peaceful and quiet at night but close enough to downtown that you can be there in a few minutes. The house looks exactly as shown in the photos. We went in winter so we mostly used the hot tub which seemed brand new. The washer and dryer were also great to have. Would definitely stay here again.
